24 students from Chung Ching Middle School in primary section achieved outstanding results when they participated in ICAS Maths this year. Those students whose achievements were outstanding were rewarded with Certificates of Merit, Credit and Distinction. The International Competitions and Assessments for Schools(ICAS) Mathematics assesses students’ skills and knowledge across five strands, they are Algebra and Patterns, Chance and Data, Measures and Units, Number and Arithmetic, Space and Geometry.

4 students have achieved Distinction, 13 students have achieved credit and 7 students have achieved Merit, they were:

Distinction: Jordan Hee Shan Yung from 4J, Ashley Chung Jia Hui from 4L, Mek Jen Rui from 5J, Wong Yung Xing from 5L.
