Students from Chung Ching Middle School in primary section have received tremendous results in Chinese schools calligraphy competition and in National Creative Contest in Chinese Language for primary schools. Certificates and trophies have been given to the students with outstanding performance during the school assembly. In order to improve the academic level in Chinese language and the competitiveness of the students, the school has encouraged the students to participate in as many as extra-curricular activities they could.

There were 13 students from Chung Ching Middle School who have received the awards from the Chinese calligraphy competition, and they were:

First Prize: Mohd Saifulremy Bin Mohd Amin from Year 3 Jasmine, Elaine Tan Eu Jie from Year 6 Lily.

Second Prize:Zahratun Hadifah Erisya Binti Hj Nur Hazhar from Year 2 Jasmine, Tham Zhi Qiang from Year 2 Lily, Ling Yii Shuen from Year 5 Lily, Alvina Aini Binti Haszlan from Year 6 Lily,

Third Prize: Ten Jun Yeh and Ling Yii Shien from Year 2 Jasmine, Chung Jia En from Year 2 Tulip, Aaron Hee Wei Tsiang from Year 3 Jasmine, Egnes Chong Li Mei from Year 4 Lily,Ng Guo Zheng and Nur Aqilah Binti Mohamad Shaffie from Year 5 Jasmine.

The principal of Chung Ching Middle Schoo, Mr.Ang said that participating in calligraphy competition does not only develop the good writing habits of the students, but it also can enrich the arts and cultural awareness in the campus.

On the other hand, 4 students have achieved outstanding performance in the National Creative Contest in Chinese Language that was organized by Fuzhou ten cities fellow club, they were:

First prize in forth group: Shane Milana Anak Jim from Year 6 Lily

Second Prize in fifth group:Risha Rajeeva Kumar Valliya Purayal from Year5 Lily

Merit awards in first group:Daniel Liew Wei En and Ho Hao Li from Year 6 Lily.

Teacher-in-Charge, Mr.Zhu Yan Han also attained the Praise Award from the organization for his contribution. The school hopes that participating in this kind of activities could stimulate the interest of students from different races in the foundation of Chinese language.
